2007 / 2008 Accomplishments:

The PTO started off the 2007-2008 school year with a Back to School Ice Cream Social on August 20, 2007. It was well attended and got everyone excited about the new school year.

The teachers and staff of ECA were given gift baskets full of supplies and goodies as a thank you from the PTO for their commitment to our children.

Throughout the school year, the PTO has purchased

• Unifix Cubes for the Pre-School/Kindergarten class

• a new TV for the first/second grade class

• $2,000 donation for the computer lab (from proceeds from the 2006/2007 school year)

• Literature books for the fifth/sixth grade class

• presentation projectors for classrooms

• crafts for class Christmas parties
  

The PTO has had many parents involved in fundraisers to accomplish the purchases of the above items. The fundraisers included Christmas Cards made by the children which were sold by the children to family and friends; Cookie Dough sale; Christmas Store for the children to purchase gifts for family and friends; Bon Ton and Macy stores events; Campbell's Labels; and Box Tops for Education.
